Meet the Team

  • NASM-CPT, Valemee® Fitness Professional Level 2

Ben brings over two decades of experience in behavioral health and fitness to his role as the Fitness Program Director and Head Trainer of Valemee. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ohio University and spent more than 20 years at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders. There, he provided direct client care in the Adolescent Transition Program and created a summer sports camp designed to boost both fitness and independence for clients on the autism spectrum.

Ben is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and holds the Valemee® Fitness Professional Level 2 certification, ensuring clients receive expert, individualized support grounded in both science and empathy. His lifelong passion for sports, fitness, and nutrition drives his work, and he brings the same enthusiasm to his hobbies—playing guitar and traveling—which inspire his creativity and deepen his passion for building connections.

  • Ryan C. Kunk is an entrepreneur, author, coach, personal trainer, and owner of Valemee—a business dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. He has a deep passion for helping others achieve unfailing strength, both internally and externally.

Ryan doesn’t just teach proven principles for lifestyle change—he’s lived them. As his father, Peter Kunk, shares in the foreword to The Winner’s Toolbox:

"I have had a front row seat watching a young man passionately pursue his big dreams, play and excel as an athlete, and most importantly, develop the mental strength, resilience, and faith that would allow him to beat cancer and a life-threatening, debilitating virus. I know you will enjoy this inspiring story, and I have no doubt you will find the tools you need to reach your full potential as an athlete, leader, or student."

Choosing the path of purpose over the corporate route, Ryan has spent the past decade launching successful ventures—including the formation of the KSM Sports and Fitness brand.

KSM Sports and Fitness is a full-spectrum fitness community featuring in-person and online training, a state-of-the-art indoor facility (opened in October 2018),

With a commitment to "Lifestyle Change 4 a Lifetime," Ryan has built a boundary-less community that goes beyond typical fitness goals. KSM also provides specialized programs for individuals living with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Diabetes, Autism, and more.

His unique blend of personal resilience, entrepreneurial drive, and inclusive wellness leadership continues to impact lives across all abilities.
